I’ve been a realtor for over 40 years, 26 of which I was also a loan officer. My expertise is in income properties, vintage homes and real estate financing, which includes first-time home buyers.

I consider myself an expert in real estate financing because I was a loan officer and loan processor for 23 years. Now that financing is so much more difficult than it was before 2008, it’s good to have a lot of expertise in that area available for both the buying and the selling side of real estate.

Every year I sell a large percentage of the older homes and the income properties in the Vermillion area. I, personally, own and manage many of these kinds of properties myself. As a result, I continue to acquire a large amount of expertise in these areas.

I have children and grandchildren in and around Vermillion so I am aware of the local issues challenging people of all ages in our community. My favorite things about the Vermillion area are: the University of South Dakota and all wonderful things it brings to us, the eye-candy countryside that surrounds us and having good friends over for dinner and Scrabble.
